Also, I have yen for 22 across and nudist for 23 down, again dont kniw why

canines....teeth mug or gum...if you see what I mean.

nudist ...not a great clue but I think you're right ...i'd +sun +t (for tender initially) ..... I don't really see the definition....but if you post the clue others may be able to help.
