I think - I is island, then SA - sex appeal, enclosing chi - a letter of some alphabet?

Thanks, AJT. The whole word is an island (in the Bay of Naples), and CHI is indeed a Greek letter, so ISA must stand for "current appeal". Unless IS stands for "current" and A for "appeal". All a bit obscure, I reckon.

I've been out for most of the day, or I would have replied before; I is island - SA is sex appeal - chi in the middle of SA. - fits OK!

i is for current.
I copied this "TheĀ three most basic units in electricity are voltage (V), current (I, uppercase "i") and resistance (r)."
