My last post was Dec 3 which means I've had a 100% record since then. And today I'm beat by just one wee clue. Damn. Here t'is...

Some streets are nothing new, OK = one way. O+NEW, obviously but why does AY=OK?

Many thanks.

Ay or aye (same word different spelling) means those voting in favour of something. i.e. it's OK.
A bit contrived but used often in crosswords.
