Just submitted this online but have one error which, for interest, I'm trying to track down. One of my doubtful answers was POETIC LICENCE at 53 across :

53 Allowance for looseness in lines? (6,7)

Anyone submitted an all correct solution and thus able to say that that POETIC LICENCE is wrong or that it's correct and I should be looking elsewhere?

Is it possible that the compiler has the spelling LICENSE? This would be the US spelling; in British it would be the verb rather than the noun.

I agree it is arguable and without that letter being a crosser, we may never know.

OP does not say if this is the only doubtful one in the grid.

Chambers gives only 'poetic licence' which I think is the only correct English spelling. What does OED have to say?

I have my completed grid here and I instinctively put 'Licence'

I submitted online and got 100% correct with poetic licence, so you must have another one wrong!
