1a: Rebekeh's first affair getting considerable coverage (7).
Who or what is 'Rebekeh'? Misprint for 'Rebekah' (perhaps Brooks nee Wade), or have I totally missed the plot?

I have the answer now. I was on the right lines. And it should be 'Rebekah' in the clue.

It is not a misprint, after all, but often misprinted!!

P.S. I just love these conversations with myself on the forum!!!

This week's puzzle has some themed answers - people who have provided clue fodder for the Eye crossword over the past 10 years. The clues for these are not further defined. Nikki's clue is one of them.

Much (considerable) around R(ebekeka/e) + do (party).

Assuming there is no definition - Rebekeh's (no misprint) first - R + affair - DO + inside (coverage) Considerable= MUCH = MURDOCH?
