Help with 26d (4) -i-i cant decide between hi fi for Henry or
wi fi for womens institute and cant get the parsing for squelch

H for Henry, provided =if + I for institute. hifi.

Squelch: squeal less the a plus the ch for chain.

I've been away acting as a caddy for a mate who was in the Northern Ireland Amateur Championship

Bet that was nice for a change. Did he (I pressume) do well?

Unfortunately he did not...he had a miserable time. The mist came down on Tuesday morning at Royal Port Rush and we were all called off the course. On Wednesday we were back at 07:00 and he was unable to finish the 8th hole and we were disqualified....but apart from that it was a great trip!
