56ac of Saturday's puzzle is 'Back at sea, serious for the majority to swallow drug'. I think I have every crossing letter right, but even if I allow for one or more to be wrong I still can't work it out!

Clearly begins with STERN, and 'majority' is I suppose MOST, but I can't fit in four more letters giving 'drug' - my dictionary shows no 13-letter word beginning Stern - someone put me out of my misery please.
