It could be JazzGirl, but that would not be in keeping with the standard of Mephisto. I'm beginning to think I have something wrong. 29 dn would give the third letter. 'Ring for old counterpart' (4) ?P??

Well, spit is a word for a counterpart (spitting image) or "dead ringer"

I think I have figured it out as 'smote' s and mo are the two 'seconds', followed by 'te' (nearly ten) which is five time two
