Hi I managed to finish and enjoyed the challenge but still not sure about explanation for 24 down. I figured out that Abel is Adams son but where does the W B come in.

This was my fave clue Mary.

You have to follow the theme of the clue to see the answer

Victim of John W (ilkes) B (ooth) - assassinated Abraham L (incoln)
Abe is short for Abraham (his nick name)
So John W B killed Abe L

Adam son = Abel (Cain & Abel)
