Can anyone explain the answer 'sugar plum fairy' to the clue 'jazz song by American about Wodehouse? Just Darcy's last dance part...'

I get Plum for Wodehouse. I have never heard of jazz song called sugar fairy,

Don't understand it but I do have the correct answer

I know I have the right answer, just not why.

Sugar= rag (jazz song) + us ( american) reversed.
Fairy = fair (just) + Darcy's last = y
