Well...The Lions landed and they didn't just roar, they had a bit of bite in them. :-). Took out the Western Force with ease. Wow,,,,, 69-17 . Up against the Qld reds next, may be a similar outcome. Hopefully the Wallabies can put up a bit of a challenge. Looking forward to some good matches. Walk overs are boring no matter who is winning.

Hello Busby sorry to intrude just wanted to say,I went to New Zealand back in 2005 to watch the lions, they beat all local opposition easily as you stated.
However they lost every test against the All Blacks.
I do fear we could be in for something similar against a very good National team,so you may be smiling yet!
Cheers

Yes, but Umaga and Mealamu dumped O'Driscoll on his shoulder in the first five minutes of the series - should have been two red cards.

Hi busby - sorry for not replying to your post earlier, but circumstances precluded a prompt reply :) However, it was good to see the Brumbies give us a wake up call during the week (albeit the 'B/C' squad). Looking forward to Saturday for the 1st test.

Why does Deans hate Quade Cooper so much? He could just be the undoing of the Lions.

Apparently Quade has been a bit mouthy in the past but when compared to some of the league players here it really seems to be overkill. Here's hoping.
