That clue looks wrong, is it not meant to read odd name's to give you a clue to drop the 's' and put the anagram around the 'N' for North

I'm glad you explained that one Andy, I haven't got the crossword and thought peg was telling me to 'Belt up' or 'Bale out' because I questioned the clue. Good job I didn't have a rant.
