2... is the largest country in Asia.

4... is a town in the country of Powys but better known as being in Herefordshire.

Thanks for those, still having trouble with kind of tent one, can only think of tepe!

re: no.4 ... There's a town of the same name in NSW, Australia. I hadn't heard of it, until I did a quick search.

am i being padantic but hay is not a plant, really its dry grass as you will know, is this the case of the quizzer bending the clues to suit the answer!
