What's elected to hold up one with a bunch of keys? (7)

- - - - - - A

What's elected? Some Latin word to do with government perhaps, ending in IA?

Keys? Florida keys... the House of Keys...piano keys...singing in key...?=================================================
Break tenses found immediately before this? (9)

- - - - - - S - S

Could this be ELEVENSES? (A break - but the rest of the clue? I don't quite see)
I was thinking earlier of some technical word to do with grammar or syntax (you know, like PARENTHESIS, ELLIPSIS etc).
=================================================
Remove worry with no sign of hesitation (6)

(If ELEVENSES correct, the answer to this would begin with E. (E - - - - -))
