7A: Grass end with long prickle ?P?N?
Is it spine? Why?
How come John from A isn't running an RT consultancy this week? Is it snowing up there?

It is spine - s for last of grass with pine (long) = spine = prickle

And John A is probably busy with his am dram - but he can answer that himself!

Sorry all. Yes the panto is coming along well, I've been tied up all week making sound effects and backing tracks. I'll be rigging Friday evening and then we have technical rehearsal on Monday and dress rehearsal on Tuesday. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with a Saturday matinee as well.

But, getting back to the subject line; I thought this week's RT was very mediocre, not even the usual one or two fun clues. Perhaps the Christmas special will be better.

Hi John, Nice to know you're having fun. I once saw Julian Clary in pantoime. There was an awful lot of "Look out! He's behind you!"
