I guess there's a new Genius tomorrow, and if it's anything like the last ones I won't be able to see the interactive version at home or on the library computers, and the print version may not be available. So...

If anyone (i.e. sudokulover!) has access to the print version in some magical way, please could they post a link here tomorrow? Thank you!

It doesn't appear to be available yet in any form. Are you normally able to see the Help section below the puzzle? There is an option down there to print out your solution rather than using the options at the top of the page but if you can't see the button there then I think it's your browser that's the problem.

Hello all. I may be wrong but I thought the Genius came out on the 1st Monday of the month. Either way, I'll keep a look out and post a link if I can access it!!!

You're right, of course. I noticed it was the 1st tomorrow and got a bit over-excited.

@sudokulover

I hope you can post the link for the May print version as you did last month. Thank you for that. Managed to submit.
How, or where, did you find the link?

The link I still get says the puzzle is unavailable:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/crossword/print/0,,-28857,00.html?answers=
(Your link had a different 5-digit number)
& the interactive grid for April is blank, even though I have all the latest Firefox & Java updates.
The Guardian seems to require an older Java plug-in which is considered a security risk.

Just flipped back to the G & saw this weirdness. Part of the page is overlaid with a piece of this message at the bottom, & part of another forum post above it. This is a link to a screen shot:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/62858730/Genius%20118.jpg

Anyone have an idea about this?

Sorry, the first link breaks after the double commas, so Copy & Paste.

The 2nd link should have been http instead of https (secure) but both seem to work. Maybe this:
http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/62858730/Genius%20118.jpg

Get the hand-basket. Things aren't going well.

What happens if you click on the Help link?
When I do that in Internet Explorer 10 I get the page which gives the option to print out the solution.

Hello syzygy - hopefully a link on Monday morning when the may Genius is due to appear. Probably just sheer luck last time - just kept clicking on various things and suddenly hey presto.

See you Mon am!

Hi, sudokulover & livs.

Guess I got overexcited too. Tried at work, where I can override the Java plug-in, & it was still #118 ! Panic city.
Overlooked the "Monday" part. Duh.

@ harrhy - tried the Help button, but no luck. I get cascading pieces of the page. Definitely a Java problem.

I'll chill until May 6. Perhaps the G site will have things sorted by then.
