21 Sir Walter Scott's "Fair Maid of Perth" was called? (5,6) I think it's Catharine Glover but have never seen it shortened to 'Cathy'.

You're right - the Fair Maid of Perth is Catharine Glover - must be crossword setter's licence to call her "Cathy"
