I've just completed this challenger, but want to pick a bone about the definition in 11down. The clue is 'Wearing red, holding one in prayer' (7) . It leads to 'introit': 'in' ='wearing', 'trot(skyist) = red, holding 'i' = 'one' .
My experience and my dictionary definitions all give 'introit' as 'an introductory hymn, psalm or anthem'; nowhere can I find it defined as a 'prayer'.
Am I out of communion with the new practices?

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page on this link you will see it mentioned as a short prayer in the Roman Catholic church
