BRIGADOON is also only nine letters. The OP is looking for an answer with eleven.

This is also my last clue to solve. Brigadoon is a musical set in Scotland, but Brigadoon fits the grid! Can someone please explain why it could be set in Ireland? Am I thick?

Helen! you confused me with "Hi Trevor, does reels fit?". Does "reels" fit what?
Also, is Brigadoon really the answer? - i am sure it was set in Scotland(stolen and relocated from a German tale)

Correct, peeps. Brigadoon is set in Scotland. The tale has a German origin but the Scottish version is much more famous. It was a musical film starring Gene Kelly and is still performed in UK (mainly amateur) as a stage musical. I suspect this is a crossword compiler\'s boo-boo (rare as these things are !)
