I know that it isn't right to do this, and that some people have very strong feelings about weasels (as I do about poodles), but if one person can be spared this heartbreak I'll feel that I have performed a public service. I will, however, totally understand if this gets sucked into the black hole reserved for inappropriate posts.

Interesting, aristo. Just a quibble though - the headline says "rodents"; ferrets aren't rodents, they are mustellids (weasels, stoats, polecats, pine-martens and ?otters)

Oh, what a fusspot you are, chrise. Of course they aren't rodents, but then again they aren't poodles either. There's seems to be a lot of confusion about them whatever they really are.
