BBM: Just want to make sure I'm interpreting your clue correctly. I see a subtractive anagram (finds her manor minus from), but is tax the anagram indicator? In the sense of "strain" perhaps, or is there a meaning I'm not seeing?

Yes , aristo - tax is the anag.ind as in taxing/painful...
like England's second half performance this evening (soccer)
