"drawer" is from the "hung, drawn, and quartered" meaning. "Fur" is a Scottish synonym for "furrow".

Hi all,

Struggling with 25d - Barker's clue's toughness (4) and 29a - 26 (Drear?) or collect (4). Have got GRIT and ENVY, not sure where the Barker's clue or the collect comes into it.

Have another look at 26 - I think you were looking at 23D
-the answer's a synonym for 26D and collect.
