Sorry rossim, with the enquirer asking particularly about the "rs" it appeared they had stopped at oversee.....(I also thought you might be having your lunch I wouldn't have bothered otherwise).

Thanks all, the T was indeed wrong. One last one to finish off. I think I know the answer, I Just can't fully justify it:

I think it's EVOKED, can someone break down the clues?

yes evoked - spun out = eked around o(circle) after V (five in roman numerals)
