73. Put the answer together by working through the clue using crossword-speak for the words or phrases. The answer is a Scottish cat (in the singular although it looks plural).
82. The answer is a dog. Barking signifies an anagram.

Thanks for your help melesmeles. I've looked at Scottish cats and the only one I can find is the fold but I'll keep looking.

I thought I knew most of the words suggesting anagram - barking is a new one on me!

Thank you so much quizmad. I'd tried BA and MA exhaustively, plus many ways of expressing doctor but I didn't take on board the significance of university, just thought it was to indicate a degree. Don't know why on the many occasions I googled Scottish cats, that breed didn't come up. Thanks again.
