Thanks hufflecat - my thoughts exactly. Still we have got quite a while before we have to send in this quiz - time to have a brainwave !!!

Thank you to all those who have provided helpful clues. My aged brain has finally arrived at answers to my last two questions. With regard to 28, I think Kennelmaid has the edge, but I will look at other responses before I finalise

i cant find this one either .ive tried several times and all i get is no match. dont know where to go next. also stuck on nos.20,31,32,47,70,75,and 77.have tried anagrams for cypher was and get no match. help somebody.

20. anagram of 3,4,5th words
32. eas(i)ly (I go) + the name of a meat
33. Rising Damp tv series, principal character's cat
47. Another word for beat, written backwards + another word for speechless.

75 another name for (news)papers + two words which are words of articles.
77 anagram 'cypher was' this gives a male name- google what he is famous for.

have just anagrammed cypher was again and they say no match. getting cross now. politely of course.

thanks all. only looking at nos57 and 47 at the moment.going back to look at 30, 70. and also noiseless nomadic, but will anagram that now . thanks again.
