Just pondering over one clue in each puzzle.
In the cryptic (2680) 23D - "Epitome of
insobriety reformed over time" (-E-T)
In the GK (1057) 22AC - "Alternative spelling
for kidney-shaped vegetable grown mainly
in China and Japan". I know that this can be
ADUKI BEAN or AZUKI BEAN, but which of
these would qualify as an ALTERNATIVE
spelling?

23d looks like New t - Newt - as in p....d as a Newt !
