Thank God (& redundantelf)-- didn't realize it could be a problem the site might be able to solve. Infuriating! Ought not to be allowed!

If a site like that has a Contact button, write to them & let them know in no uncertain terms that you will never deal with them.

That should get their attention.

I mean the intruding ad site, of course.

Our forum admin was very prompt in dealing with the problem. Thank you.

I'm afraid that I've just had my first instance of this problem, so all is not well.
