Late checking in as I only managed to get my copy this lunchtime. Thanks for the hints re 18a, as that was causing me problems. Although I have an answer which fits for 19d (although the clue reads 18d) I can't quite see the parsing. (I have a word ending in K) Maybe some lunch will help.

I now understand the parsing on 19d. Off to do a bit of "spring-cleaning" in the garden. Lovely sunny day here

Hi, I'm struggling this week. di think it's a new compiler? I have an answer for 16a - the only word for "implicate" that I can find to fit, but I can't make sense of the clue. Any suggestions please?

I have an unusual boy's name (associated with detectives?) around a rather "slangy" abbreviation for a relative.
