Almost done but stuck on 22 across
"Old gun but lacking kick" It's only four letters and I have the first three, correct, I think:
HAK_
Just don't get this one at all! Any help gratefully received with apologies if I have missed anything obvious!

Re my last post- just realised I had HAC as first three letters so think it must be HACK, not sure I follow logic of the clue though!
