I think this is correct but would appreciate seeing how it is parsed.

A girl left around middle of the season - AUTUMNAL

Also, need answer and parsing for:-

Possible miss ruins odds in heat ?A?S?A

Question novel avoids? Yes and no - QUO VADIS (Anag. QU and AVOIDS) but why 'Yes and no'?

Ill-fated cruise from Gibraltar to thr Levant, perhaps, no-one boards - DOOMED fits the Def. and letter pattern but how is it parsed?

Am very bad at cluing what I think is an 'and lit' clue..

Quo Vadis is both a Novel and a question, 'whither goest thou'

Best stab from me.

Hi Mamya, thanks for that. With ref. to the last one, it was the 'Yes and No' bit that I can't quite fathom.
