Bit of a slog today and am not at all sure these are correct, but if they are I need the parsing explained:-

Box in New York underground - TUBE (Underground)

Couple nearly asleep start to snore in them - TWIN BEDS (Snore in them)

Diamonds are brought up in car for senior minister - MODERATOR?

Open University can start to gain exposure - OUTING (Exposure)

I think the setter is pushing it a bit with 'D' as an abbr. for 'Diamonds' and 'Tube' for 'Box' in New York. Many thanks to all those who helped.
