I like barm cake, and I suspect you're right with tearing, but I can't see it.

Just had a brainstorm. It's not tearing, it's tracing.

Tearing was from finding (in the jewellery trade earings etc are called findings) and T for time. I did put in the ? so our brainier friends could tell us if I am correct.
