85a go round before tea break? Nonsense!
quick clue go round 7 letters

I may have 81d wrong, run up to, right after
easy clue joy 4 letters. I have put idyl as thats all I could get to fit!!

I think ROTATE must be correct as ROT is nonsense. In my thesaurus COOL is an informal word for elation (joy) and this would fit.

Further to this posting, I have for 80a...Long to perform hit number in..ITCH.
For 81d..Run up to, right after, I am left with, T-o-. Must be trot.
Easy clue for 81d is JOY, as previosly stated.
I think this is a misprint (this crossword has form in this respect) and should be JOG. Does this fit with anyone?

I think you are probably right. Your explanation makes sense as cool was rather too obscure for this crossword.
