Why = y

Hiss = boo

Good in the hood = definition

I agree with your suggestion about chrise and rambler.

I liked mrw's humour and topicality @25, but thought "Pity there's no definition". Obvioulsy mrw thought the same.

Again, really good clues to pick from this week - so thanks les for the word(s).

Some favourites were pastille @2 (I remember going to see him in his early days in the 70's in Glasgow) and bullfrog @8 (very clever).

But my vote goes to bbm2 @15. The surface reading was excellent IMHO - you wouldn't know it was a crossword clue, well done!
