30 Just messin about (I haven't missed a letter off this)

2 Gold hideaway

2 Short smoked fish for heather

30 Pop was a darling

Thanks Mamya I picked up on your clues to 2 and 29 but am struggling with 30. Should I be thinking a large dog?

I see where you are going chrise and know that author but I cannot relate it to the clue. Can you explain without giving the game away? I was on the wrong track with mamya's clue if yours is the right one.
