I managed a clean sweep yesterday but not today...

Right money invested in lavish food served up at address = freedom of speech. Money invested in food = DOMOF. Address = SPEECH. Where does FREE come from? And why is LAVISH in the clue?

Cabinetmaker's material is down to a pound = satinwood.

Many thanks.
Silly boy
One definition of Lavish is free

I was thinking that must be the case but couldn't find such a definition. Thanks.

Anagram of 'is down to a'

Not sure about 'pound' as an anagram indicator, though!

Ah, thanks. That'll be to 'pound' the letters up. Bit contrived I suppose.
