Last clue,20dn,A crib which doesn`t get one honours (7) ?A?S?E?

Bassinet is a crib, but without the i would give you bassnet (but cannot find any such word anywhere !) Basinet is a medieval helmet so cannot see how this would fit either.

The answer is PASSKEY (see page 8)

I presume this means "crib" in the meaning of "cheating" and "pass" in an exam (i.e.not getting honours. (I've had plenty of those!)

Turns out the one I got wrong was a typo when entering amaryllis.Got to learn to spell.So passkey is correct.Just learned amaryllis is a John Milton quote,well I live and learn,hopefully.Merry Xmas and a Happy New year when it arrives.Slangevar.
