I'd never heard that name before, but if it's right I am in trouble with another clue - "Run out of decorations in packets, perhaps"(8) - I offered "Starless" but wasn't really happy with it (The final letter of "Piri" fits where the "R" is

I am so sorry it should be Rita
and the other one is steamers (streamers minus the r)
