Have completed this week's puzzle but am not sure if some are right as I cannot fully parse them:
48d After alteration, new suit is capital = TUNIS
49d Money in centre of purse wasllowed by big fish = LUCRE
52a Politician in republic begining to subvert monarchies = EMPIRES.
48a Be snapped up in minute, like glitzy decorations = TINSELLY. I've read in a previous post that this in sell inside tiny but I'm thinking 'be snapped up' should be sold, not sell.....?
Any help please?
