A bit feeble this week.

If it helps anyone the Wordfinder is "Working Lunch".

Thank you, John. I haven't started this one yet but always send in my entry. A rough calculation suggests that, over the last three years, by not buying the Radio Times I could have saved enough to have bought a portable DVD player...

Kind regards,

Does that include the stamps and envelopes too?

Although I usually finish it, I never bother to send it in.

John, I think you meant #46.
What do you have for 10a?

At the risk of upsetting JfA I have LIME (concealed in compLIMEnt.

Like JfA I rarely send it in, but its good fun. In fact since we atarted cricising some of the clues in the summer they seem to be getting more relevant. Do you think we have influenced them?

Sorry, been away cooking and eating. Yes, LIME is my answer and yes it should have been #46. I thought the clue for 7 across was very poor.

Going back to #45 what did everyone put for:

19d How a German covers stake (5) ?A?E?

I put TAKES as it's an anagram of STAKE, but wasn't very happy with that.

Hi trevor,

I'm well thanks. I had stared at that clue for ages and never spotted wager in the middle.
