Good morning all. A little late this marning due an unexpected visitor. Hope you enjoy the clues this week. J.

I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!

Please withhold solutions till 5 pm (GMT) to allow others to have a go.

1. One who is active in body or mind works under the table when burned out (7)
2. Run like the first serpent (6)
3. Stumped by a novice, caught by a lob (2,1,4)
4. Energetically equivalent to lightweight’s affair (4,7,8)
5. Flyer’s attack victim? (10)

Hi jolan
Nothing at first sight, and I'm out most of the afternoon. Oh well, I'll just have to look at the answers later, I suppose.

Sybarite, indeed, aristo! I have been for a bracing walk with daughter and dog in sub-zero temperatures (no golf involved).
I expect it is quite cold with you, now, is it?
