And 13a = Seasons.

Just got 12a - Octopus (anagram).

2 hex agon(y)

18 unit(e)

17 pla(i)ce

This kind of crossword is difficult with so few crossing letters.
Can you please explain 8d which should have 9 letters. I am also having problems parsing 9a.
The two glaring spelling mistakes do not fill me with confidence either.

Just looked. Pentagram would fit.

8 should be pentagram

9 g arden(t) shed

1 not h ing
