Need help with the parsing on these:-

Collect priest and philosopher - PRAYER? (I can see 'P' Priest but that leaves RAYER?, Also can 'Collect' mean 'Prayer'?

Unrepeatable switch settings conserve energy - ONE OFF? But what's the definition?

The philosopher is Ayer and Pr for priest.

Collect: a short prayer specific to liturgies.

Pr = priest.
Ayer = philosopher.

Unrepeatable makes something a one off.
