Q. Harsh words about backward boy (8)
The answer begins with S and is a UK place name and I think it is SWORDALE .
Could someone explain this answer please

I have no alternative to offer to SWORDALE but would suggest that the original clue is poor if HARSH WORDS (noun) is supposed to indicate SWORE (verb).

Hi all. Could harsh words about mean ROWS as in arguments . Turn them about SWOR.
