I don't think the Rambler made it to our shores but when I first met mrs rambler I owned a Metropolitan, sold over here as an Austin with RHD. I later learned that it was the favourite car of the 'working girls' in Soho and they used the Nash LHD version for obvious reasons. If the link works the picture is the right colour and spec. of my car.

Thanks Les, good to know that some things- like Fyffes bananas and Imperial Leather soap are still around.
Don't have an Aldi near enough to go to, unfortunately

I get all my fruit and veg from Aldi, you just can't knock it for quality, I know some stuff is naff but the essentials are (in some cases) half the price of the supermarkets that try to appeal to the more urbane clientele.
