25d Old palisaded enclosure, Scottish ruin (6)
30d Rock rabbit, one burrowing in pass (6)

25 D. Pettle (a Scottish word for ruin/spoil a child).

Many thanks trevor and malone! Chambers gives dassie as the hyrax (= rock rabbit), so that seems right. I'd researched pettle as indulged, but at 2am, was still stuck on ruin the noun rather than the verb! All done now.
