I'm sure Croeso will be happy with the answer and he never specified clues.

It's just that I'm not so kind as you and was hoping to make them work just a bit towards the answer.

For the other clue about a drip etc. I have an idea for the answer but I can't quite make it out. A clue would be "Cave decorations". It's a really easy clue as I'm not confident that the answer is correct.

When I wrote in post 7 "...I'm not confident that the answer is correct" I should have written "...I'm not at all confident in the slightest that the answer I am thinking of is in any way correct".
