I suspect you have some errors - for example 2 is ARMLESS

i got the letter a from a clue which says cured- the cryptic clue is " Better when he'd imbibed a beer " - i put healed- beer is ale+ he'd= healed

It's the O that's wrong (and I misled you by misreading the clue and not putting the "H" back in!)
