More comfortable is "Cosier"
Just looked it up in Chambers and it gives "Shakesp. - a cobbler", which fits with your answer to 49.

Muffin the Mule was a string puppet who danced on a piano (black and white UK TV). It's an anagram of "Mum fine" and "the flu"
