Evenin' all.

Horse that flew past, say, like you and I = pegasus. It's the PEG bit I can't see.

In Paris I'll readily cooperate with others = -A-L (Deal says Roy).

Economist in Durham area has outstanding solutions = Keynes. I've heard of Milton Keynes but can't figure 'outstanding solutions'.

Oral sensor works best for everyone inside a bit = taste bud. I'm guessing BEST+TAD but how do we get the U?

The answer to this clue is 'burrow' - "Where Peter disappears in urban area, some say...". The next clue is - "... to small shack" = shut. S for small, Hut for shack I suppose but what's the clue about??

Many thanks.

Keynes refers to Manyard Keynes (not sure of spelling but he is a famous economist)
Durham area = north east
solutions = keys

I guess the U is from universal - U rated films?

The U in taste bud.
I think the compiler's "everyone" means you who are doing the crossword and you = u.

Maynard Keynes is the geezers name.
And I think there are different rating systems for films, but U meant "everyone" could go see it.

trevor,
If "oral sensor" = taste bud. "everyone" is the only word left to explain the "u". The film censorship thing seems quite a big step.

Do you agree with the jell answer.

Thanks all. Apologies for the misprint in the Paris clue - should be -E-L. Why Jell - something to do with Plaster of Paris??

No takers for Shut then!!
